ENVIRONMETALLY FRIENDLY BAMBOO FLOORING

Unlike hardwood trees requiring more than 80 years to grow to maturity, bamboo is a grass that grows to maturity in less than 6 years and is renewably harvested over and over from the same plants. Plantation grown in managed agricultural plots by independent farmers in the Zhejiang Province of China. Abco bamboo is from the MOSO (Phyllostachys Pubescens) specie which is not a food source or habitat for Pandas. Bamboo is a critical element in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. It helps reduce the carbon dioxide gases blamed for global warming

Our bamboo flooring products surpass even the strictest environmental laws such as the use of formaheldeydes in bonding adhesives. Abco bamboo flooring far exceeds European (E1) standards with 20% lower off-gassing readings than current standards permit.
